The Contessa 32 is a modern classic. Since first was launching from the Rogers yard in 1971 she has become widely recognized as the most popular racer cruiser ever - beautiful to look at, a dream to sail and with a formidable reputation for seaworthiness.
Katrina is a Canadian built boat and has cruised over 5000 miles under her current owners. This includes trips over the North sea to the Baltic states.
She was bought by the current owner in 2009 and he completed a refit on her to be able to go single handed sailing.
Interior was removed where possible and refurbished and rigging was replaced in 2011 and upgrade to a thicker grade of wire.
She benefits from wheel steering with Raymarine Tillerpilot, Autohelm instrument, Garmin 750 chartplotter and AIS.
Katrina is ready for a new owner to either family cruise in safety or single handed sailing.

Owner Comments
I bought the boat in 2009 and extensively refitted for single handed cruising.
New Standing rigging in 2011 upgraded to 1mm thicker that standard.
I have sailed many miles on the North Sea and one trip to the Baltic. Katrina is now based on the Clyde for island cruising.
I have overwintered her every year with a dehumidifier.
Since the refit she has covered over 5000 sea miles and proved herself well founded for cruising any area.
