A very sturdy and well-built hull will handle most water you put her through, so if circumnavigation is your thing, a Cascade 36 might work for you. The Seller uses this Cascade to fish for Salmon in the season. If used for trolling, the sails cannot be deployed as the two back stays are removed. It only takes about an hour to reattach the stays and go fishing. The Fish holds can hold up to around 250 Salmon. This sail area is fairly large for this boat, so she'll attain 8 knots in a good breeze. Even with the slightly narrower 10-foot beam, this boat has a lot of room in the cabin, so your passengers will have plenty of room for everyone. There's a V-berth forward that will comfortably sleep two, the dinette and settee in the salon, and a quarter berth aft. The galley is simple and compact with a sink, stove/oven, and icebox.
