About this Tayana 52
The Tayana 52 is a sturdy blue water cruiser designed and built by the dynamic duo Bob Perry and Ta Yang Yacht building, who produced a line of yachts that Perry says have the sweetest sheer he has ever drawn. This rare centre cockpit version with additional sugar scoop, gives her an overall length of 54’. With her fine light teak interior and fast, sweeping hull lines she is one of the best made boats to come out of Taiwan in this era. Darling Blue has been meticulously maintained and upgraded by her shipwright owner. The owner reports she handles extremely well in heavy weather and is a pure joy in light weather making her a comfortable cruising home for serious sailors.

Displacing around 20 tons she is steady at anchor and has an easy motion at sea. She is the best she has ever been now. Sailing so well, motoring nicely. After a day on the water, or weeks crossing oceans, or several hours spent on watch at the helm in the comfortable and safe cockpit, the warm traditional interior makes “Darling Blue” a comfortable cruising home.
Darling Blue has a British ‘Blue book’ Part.1 registration in Gibraltar and there are no known outstanding encumbrances.
