Excalibur was designed for a sailor who wished to be able to cruise all the waters previously covered under sail. Such waters included S/W England, the Channel Islands, North and West France, South & West Ireland.
To meet the required specification, the stern cabin was completely redesigned, guard rails were fitted, and a small RIB and a 4 man liferaft accommodated on the coach roof of the stern cabin.
Since her launch in April 2003, Excalibur has proved to be an extremely comfortable and superbly seaworthy fast cruising motor yacht. With her stunning dark blue hull, she exudes a powerful presence and has been hugely admired by the sailing fraternity wherever she has travelled. The engines have done less than 450hrs running time and are running beautifully with no apparent use of oil.
Maintenance: Originally based at Lymington Yachthaven, Excalibur was moved to St Mawes, Cornwall in 2005. She has been immaculately maintained throughout her life, coming out of the water each winter (October to March) when she has had engines/outboard winterised, sea cocks closed, woodwork re- varnished and no expense spared to replace filters and parts as necessary.
Reason for selling: Sadly, the time has come to downsize to a SWORDSMAN 30 and stay closer to home!
