Description
'River Spirit' is a 46' trad stern narrow boat built by Piper Narrowboats and fitted out by Cheshire Narrowboats in 2006 for the current owner. With only 352 hours engine hours, she has had comparatively little use and is a good opportunity to purchase a well fitted and equipped narrow boat that is ready to use with a current EA river licence valid to 31/3/2022 and Boat Safety Certificate to 2023. Construction
Welded steel plate - 10mm base plate, 6mm side plate, 5mm superstructure sides, 6mm roof. Spray foam insulation, ballasted with concrete slabs and bricks, flooring 18mm exterior plywood overlayed with carpet, cork tiles and laminate, stainless steel water tank, mild steel fuel tank. Dark blue painted topsides and decks with a gold coach line, brass anodised aluminium framed windows and port holes. The vessel was last blacked and new anodes fitted in 2019.

Accommodation
Access doors fore and aft with a sliding hatch at the stern. Steps with storage space on both sides lead down to the aft cabin, and the steps can be removed for access to the engine. Two single berths with storage beneath, a walk through bathroom with a corner shower cubicle, Thetford cassette toilet, wash basin and vanity unit, heated towel rail, galley with fitted base units, drawers and cupboards, stainless steel sink and drainer with mixer tap, laminate work top, fridge, cooker and half doors to starboard. The saloon has a fitted corner unit, fitted low level shelving, double sofa bed, multi fuel stove on a tiled plinth, steps (access to water pump behind) and double doors to the foredeck.
The interior is nicely finished in oak veneered plywood, mahogany hardwood trim, laminate, cork tile and carpet flooring, blue patterned curtains.

Engine
Beta Marine B-28 4 cylinder, keel cooled diesel engine with twin alternators coupled to a shaft drive via a PRM 80 reduction gearbox with a single lever engine control mounted at the helm.

Electrics
12v - 1 x engine battery, 4 x leisure batteries, LED lighting, horn, tunnel light, navigation lights, toilet flush, domestic water pump, bilge pump, shower waste pump, fridge.
230v - shore power connection, consumer unit, immersion heater, plug sockets.

Equipment
2 x 13kg propane gas bottles, Caprice 2040 cooker, Waeco 12v fridge, multifuel stove, electric flush cassette toilet, gang plank, pole, mooring ropes, fenders.
