The Swan 37 is a true classic sturdy yacht from the design board of Sparkman & Stephens. Built in 1970, she has proven herself to be a very capable racer and cruisier. She benefits from many modern updates, including a diesel inboard and standing rigging.
She has a good survey from 2021 available upon request and a comprehensive maintenance history.
La Belle presents a very good opportunity for a new owner to complete in this summers Swan Solent series.
La Belle also has a very good opportunity to purchase her 'GBR 37 R' sail number, which the owners have been using for many years.

We bought our first Swan 37 yacht in 2004. She was hull 04 launched in 1971. Our broker was unaware of her Racing history. By chance we were wintering at Hamble Point when a former crew member recognised her. She was Called Gunfleet of Hamble and she had been the top yacht of Cowes week1971 with 3 wins and 3 2nds! We started winning races culminating in winning the first day of the Swan Regatta 2009 against 50 other Swan Yachts! La Belle Aventure is a similar Swan 37.
