Accommodation
Six berths in two cabins with 5'11" max. standing headroom. Open plan saloon with large U-shaped seating area with table which drops to form a double berth, and forepeak double V berth forward. Galley to port with Dometic two-burner spirit cooker, insulated cool box and moulded sink. Chart table to starboard with stowage and space and switch panel. Heads aft to starboard with Jabsco marine toilet and wash basin. Hand pumped cold freshwater supply to galley sink & heads basin. Blue upholstery.
Sails and Spars
Fractional rigged bermudan sloop. Proctor aluminium, deck stepped, single swept back spreader, mast and boom. Aluminium spinnaker pole. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2014). Terylene running rigging. Rod kicker. Adjustable backstay. Slab reefing mainsail with lazyjacks. Harken headsail furling system. 2 x Lewmar 16 self-tailing sheet winches. Meissner 8 and Lewmar 7 halyard winches on coachroof. Lines led aft to Barton clutches.
Mechanical Systems
1990 Volvo Penta 2001, single cylinder, 9hp diesel engine located under companionway steps. Raw water cooled. Saildrive to two-blade folding propeller. Single lever controls. 25 litre plastic fuel tank. Engine serviced by mechanic owner in 2021.

Two 12 volt batteries (one new 2021) charged from engine alternator. Interior lighting.

Construction
MG Spring 25 built in 1990 by Northshore Yachts to a design by Tony Castro. Blue GRP hull with red/yellow style stripes. Underwater hull epoxied in 2013. White superstructure with moulded non-slip decks. Cast iron wing keel. Twin spade rudders with tiller steering and tiller extension. Self-draining aft cockpit. Antifouled in March 2023.
