The Kok Cruiser probably originates from one of the oldest shipbuilding families still building new ships. A purely Dutch product of a shipyard since 1754. A descendant of the family left the old shipyard of Vinkeveen and started the construction of Kokkruisers in Leimuiden. The shipyard is located between the Westeinderplassen (a.o. Aalsmeer,
Rijsenhout), Braassemermeer, the Wijde Aa and the Kagerplassen in.
This Kokkruiser is equipped with a neat paint system and is therefore offered tightly in the lacquer. In 2001 a new Yanmar of 55 hp has been built in and all related technology has been renewed. What strikes me is that the boat has a lovely steering position. You have the feeling that the boat is built around you while you are sailing and you have everything under control. The boarding is no problem for the elderly owner because you can easily board from the jetty. Also on the inside it is CAUTION! Mahogany wooden interior is light and there is a lot of daylight. The boat has no damage inside or outside and also inside the windows are nicely dry and have no water or sun damage. The boat feels very open and spacious and has several striking handy features. It really is such a handy boat of which you say I put my bag on board and start the engine and sail away relaxed. The right practical things are there to make everything run smoothly. Lots of handy storage spaces, a spacious toilet and a fine well insulated engine. The kitchen is very clean and fresh and all technology is stainless steel.
