With attractive lines, easily handled and intended to offer a satisfying performance to experienced sailors, the Sadler 29 also offers the benefits of 'unsinkability' and insulation through the use of space-filling foam between the hull inner moulding.
This twin-keeled example has been significantly updated in recent years, with a new Beta Marine engine fitted in 2021 (with only 75 hours run), a comprehensive recent B&G instrument fit-out including Triton displays and a Vulcan touch screen plotter, replacement standing rigging in 2018 and a Lewmar electric windlass fitted in 2022.
'Kinvara will appeal for the quality of presentation; her shoal draught; ability to dry out or to be laid ashore without recourse to a storage cradle; her low-hours recent engine combined with other recent equipment replacements. She represents a relatively straightforward and economic boat to take pride in.
Don't be slow; this one is sure to sell quickly!

Comfortable accommodation offering six berths in two cabins
A new 12v fridge compressor was fitted in 2022, along with a largely replaced 12v pumped fresh water system:
Forward cabin: with 'V' berth double, open shelving above berth along each hull side. Overhead opening deck hatch (hatch replaced) with roller blind.
Headscompartment: Jabsco marine flushing toilet with 'Twist & Lock' pump handle (New in 2021/22), moulded basin with 12v pumped cold water supply to the basin.
Hanging/sail locker opposite the heads to starboard, with single hanging rail and shallow cave locker outboard (beneath the side deck).
Saloon: 'U' shaped seating to port, this can convert to a double berth, with a straight settee/single berth opposite. Lee clothes are fitted to either side's single berth for comfort when passage-making at night. A strong, centreline table is fitted with bottle stowage within. Navigation station aft to starboard with forward facing chart table and instrumentation. Quarter-berth aft and to starboard of the cockpit. Twin-gang 13 Amp sockets are fitted to the forward and aft ends of the saloon, with a single, incorporating USB outlets at the chart table.
Galley: 'L' shaped galley has Flavell Vanessa gas stove with 2 burners, oven and grill. Top opening cool box with 12v refrigeration plate by Isotherm within (Fitted in 2022); Under side-deck lockers. Fold down worktop extension flap. Pressurised cold water system with back-up manual water pump to single stainless steel sink.
Cockpit area: The original, individual hardwood slats to the cockpit seating has been removed and replaced using 'Isiteek' simulated 'laid teak', together with the cockpit sole too. A removable Lagun teak table is mounted on a receiving plate fitted to the bridge deck and there are deep, foam-filled cockpit cushions on which to relax.
Within the cockpit area:
At chart table:
A Beta Marine B25 (25 BHP) 3 cylinder, indirectly cooled diesel was fitted 2021. Just 75.3 hrs running (March 2023) recorded on its engine hour meter.
A PSS gland seal by Tide Marine and 2 bladed folding propeller were fitted at same time, together with a new reinforced plastic skin-fitting, valve and cooling water strainer.
ElectricalSystems
2 off 85 A/hr batteries [recent] are fitted within the design's original battery containment, beneath the quarter berth, while an additional 115 A/hr battery added in 2022, located within the locker space beneath the head of the quarter berth to serve the new electric windlass.
The original switch/fuse panel by Sadler and located above the engine/beneath the companionway has been updated and extended (now 11-way) and an additional, 6-way switch/fuse panel also fitted alongside the chart table.
A 220-240V AC system with input socket to aft end of cockpit is fitted. An RCD unit is fitted for personnel protection alongside the chart table, together with two individual circuit breakers for circuit protection and selection.
A 15 Amp, three outlet battery charger by Victron is fitted here too.
Rigged as a masthead sloop rig on aluminium alloy mast & boom by Selden, but badged by Kemp Masts of Titchfield, with the higher spec. 'Reefin' behind-mast reefing system for the mainsail and a Furlex roller reefing fitted to the for'stay for the headsail.
Sails:
General note on any safety equipment:Any safety equipment such as life rafts, EPIRBs, fire extinguishers and flares etc. are usually personal to the current owner(s) and if being left on-board as part of the sale of a used vessel may require routine servicing, replacement, or changing to meet a new owners specific needs.
This twin-keeled example of the Sadler 29 was built by Sadler Yachts, to what was their 'De-luxe' specification of the time including such niceties as the two-tone deck moulding, reefing lines brought back to the cockpit, etc. etc.
'Kinvara' has, in the past, been owned by a keen and deep-pocketed owner that is refected in the 'high end' instrument fit-out, stainless steel davits and the quality of the engine replacement. In the current and proud ownership the care has continued, witnessed by the good quality windlass fitment, combined with a top-of-the-range anchor and new chain cable; the fitting of simulated teak (Isiteek) sheathing to the cockpit seats and re-finishing of the deck moulding.
This particular Sadler 29 will appeal for the quality of presentation, low-hours recent engine, combined with it's shoal draft/drying out capability and simple sail handling features.
