RIBs For Sale have just listed this 2020 Selva 5m RIB powered by the punchy Selva 70hp XSR engine which produces slightly more than the standard Yamaha 70hp! The RIB itself is cleverly designed and laid out to provide seating and storage for all the family. In the bow there is a self-draining anchor locker, behind that is a generous double sun pad with cavernous storage locker underneath. The infill cushion between the console and the forward bulkhead extends the lounging area further still. The console itself is accessed either from the front or the rear, there is space for stowing gear in there too! The rear bench seat is hinged to enable access to the battery / isolator and the 25ltr removable fuel tank, there is also space in there for storing the overall cover.

The RIB is well equipped for cruising and family days out, she has an inventory of electronics to include, Garmin Echomap plus 45cv GPS / with echosounder (removable) and a fixed Garmin 115i VHF radio, the Yamaha engine gauge provides engine data and alerts the skipper of any malfunctions. A self-draining deck keeps her dry under foot and the transom splash well configuration prevents back wash entering the deck space easily. Attached to the splash well moulding is a sturdy 2-inch-thick stainless-steel a-frame which houses the nav lights and ariels. There are cleats for tying off either side. The whole package is sitting on an Extreme roller trailer and is ready to roll. Someone needs to add to the 113 hours she’s covered so far! She’ll cruise comfortably at circa 22 knots and flat out she’ll top mid-thirties.
