The Pronavia 42 Sport IRC is a moderate displacement, high ballast ratio racer with a generous sail area, considered to be highly competitive against X-Yachts, Archambaults, and other rival racing yachts. Below decks the design allows the navigator to sit either side of the central navigation station over the engine. Removable stainless steel tube frame companionway ladder with teak steps. Canvas storage bag/sprayscreen under companionway ladder.

Construction
Built in 2009 by Pronavia Yachts, Sweden to a Chris Stimpson design. Epoxy hull construction with carbon fibre reinforced and engineered structure making her very stiff fore and aft. Carbon fibre gate tiller with two Spinlock telescopic tiller extensions. Keel bulb of some 3.2 tonnes with a draft of 2.63m.
