This 42 Power Catamaran was designed by Simonis-Voogd with solar / electrification as a future option.The narrower hulls and less wetted surface area below the waterline allow the boat to reach a top speed of 25+ knots, maintaining exceptional fuel efficiency.
The hull, deck and bulkheads are manufactured with vacuum bonded PVA foam core construction and using vinyl ester resin and multi directional e-glass.
All bulkheads, bunks and floorboards are laminated.
All high load areas are reinforced.
The boat is coated with a polyurethane paint and there is an epoxy barrier coat below the waterline.
