Extensive history available (in terms of maintenance but also experiences with the pastor).
Built in 1937 at Akerboom Oegstgeest by order of the parishioners of St. Bavo's church in Oud Ade for their pastor Emile Derksen.
This enabled Mr. Pastor to visit his parishioners along the Kagerplassen in times of illness, for example. Derksen christened the little boat Wilhelmina after his mother. The church boat as it was called was a familiar sight in the region and served faithfully for many years for pastor Derksen. After that the little ship served for a long time as a tug for a camping boss and a farmer in the neighborhood. Eventually it ended up at a ship repair shop in Sassenheim where it was found in 2008 by an Almelo florist who restored the little ship to its former glory over the years.
