"Salty Scorcher" has the benefit of having been brought up to charter specification and although coded has never been used as a charter boat. The most obvious advantage being the high level of safety on board. Her very knowledgeable owner prepared her for almost every eventuality when planning the voyage down to San Carles and although she had all her standing rigging replaced in 2008 he took the precautionary measure of having all the bottle screws replaced before departing these shores in 2012.
