Sailing vessel Bylgia is for sale. With this famous ship, Dutch sailor Eilco Kasemier has traveled the world solo. This aluminum Koopmans 40 is very solid and beautifully built. The current owner has owned the ship for 20 years and has maintained her well so that she is in an excellent condition. A lot has been invested to keep the ship in good condition and up-to-date. The steering is steering wheel with rod connection directly on the quadrant. The tiller steering is still present. The masts are aluminium and the booms have been replaced by aluminum furling booms (2005). For easy sailing all sails can be rolled up. Maneuvering this ship is easy thanks to its powerful new engine and the bow thruster. There are many modernizations including a robust stainless steel bracket for solar panel and davits, a generator and air conditioning. There is a toilet room on the starboard side at the entrance.
