Boatshed London are delighted to offer this 15m Dutch Barge for sale with residential mooring at South Dock Marina, SE16 - now London's most popular marina for liveaboards.
This 1940's barge has recently had extensions added at the bow stern which now contains a really smart shower room and heads in the aft area and a master suite in the bow. The central living area has loads of light from the large windows and high ceilings and the galley has been fitted with a new electric oven and hob and large, American style fridge freezer. The master cabin has plenty of storage and a full sized double bed.
The engine is currently out of commission but the works to reconnect it and get it up and running are not thought to be too onerous. The intention is that this will be a floating home primarily anyway.
The boat is sold with a fully transferable residential mooring at South Dock Marina, SE16. Current mooring fees are roughly £8,500 per annum but any prospective purchaser should make their own enquiries with the marina to confirm ongoing fees. There is a 10% mooring transfer fee (of the sale price) payable to the marina.
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
