Built by Clifford Adams of Looe in approximately 1975 as a passenger ferry for the town. Her actual history is not that well known so it is unclear how long she worked for. Refitted by the previous owner in recent years with new gunwhales, some plank repairs and all new seating.

Built by Clifford Adams of Looe in approximately 1975 as a passenger ferry for the town. Her actual history is not that well known so it is unclear how long she worked for. Refitted by the previous owner in recent years with new gunwhales, some plank repairs and all new seating.
The current owner fitted a second hand Yanmar engine in 2021 and has used her for pottering about in Falmouth and along the local coast.
She is a very fine looking launch with a lovely sheer and straight stem. Her hard turn to the bilge and generous beam mean she is incredibly stable, one person standing on the gunwhale will barely make her move. she is a very stable, sea worthy and capable boat, ideal for river and coastal exploration.

Construction
Planked in mahogany all copper fastened to steamed oak timbers.
Oak gunwhales all round replaced in 2017.
Hull finished in white with a dark blue sheer strake and varnished oak capping rail.
Varnished Douglas Fir seats, all new in 2017.
Douglas Fir sole boards throughout.
Painted plywood aft deck.
Tiller steering on transom hung rudder.
Central tow post doubles up as a cover support
Machinery
Yanmar 2cyl 18hp diesel in good working order. Fitted as a second hand unit in 2021.
Stainless shaft to 3 blade bronze propeller
Single 12 volt battery charged from the engine alternator.
Painted steel fuel tank under the aft deck.
