Cockpit and Helm Stations:

The CATALINA 400 Mk II features a large cockpit. The overall length is 9' (not including the Companionway area) and the width is 7'. The seat length is 5'4". There is a "Walk-Thru" entrance to the Cockpit via a boarding ladder and the "Scoop" Transom. The Primary operating Helm Station is to starboard. The engine controls and instrumentation are mounted there.

Rig, Rigging, Winches and Sails

The LADY M is equipped with the Factory Optional Mainsail Roller Furling System. The spar is anodized aluminum with an aluminum / silver finish. It has double spreaders and and is is deck-stepped. A stainless steel compression post transmits the load to the fiberglass support member in the Salon. The halyards are internal.

The "max continuous" RPM's would be about 3200 RPM's but a lower range is recommended for best fuel consumption performance. The Owner cruises at someRPM.s to get 6.5 knots or better.

Complete engine access is provided by the removal of the Companionway steps and a secondary access located at the Aft Cabin entrance, port side.
