This Bruce Roberts Mauritius 43 steel cutter is beautifully appointed. It is an exceptional steel yacht with excellent sea-going capability. As a sturdy passage maker, this craft is suitable for cross-channel hops or even circumnavigation. You are strongly advised to make an appointment to view this very special vessel. A 2018 hull survey is available on request. This yacht does need to be sandblasted and epoxied before she goes back in the water. The reduction in price reflects the costs of this work.
Accommodation
The Bruce Roberts Mauritius 43 offers 7 berths in 3 cabins, with a good headroom of 6'4”. The forward cabin features a double Vee berth with plenty of storage space. There is a toilet to starboard with a shower and vanity unit with a marine toilet. To port, the fully equipped galley includes a stainless steel sink and drainer with mixer tap, Spinflo 2 burner gas hob with oven and grill, fridge, microwave, and ample storage. To starboard, the saloon table seats 5/6 people and converts to a double berth. A chart table is also located to starboard. The stern aft cabin has a full island double bed with wardrobe and storage. Upholstery is in cream velour, with carpeting in the saloon and cabins, and curtains throughout. All areas are heated via a Webasto diesel heater. Steps lead to the wheelhouse with helm and instruments.

History and Construction
The Bruce Roberts Mauritius 43 is of steel construction painted white, with a steel superstructure and grey painted non-slip decks. It features stainless steel handrails. There has been one previous owner, and the current owner has owned the boat for the last 3 years and has finished cruising, hence the boat being ashore in Almerimar Marina, Spain.
Mechanical
Located under the cockpit sole is the engine room, a small workshop with full standing height. It has a single 1998 Ford Mermaid 85 with 600 hours on the clock (last serviced September 2019), a four-cylinder diesel engine with 85hp shaft drive to a fixed 3-bladed propeller with a rope cutter. It features single lever controls with a Bowthruster and a 700ltr stainless steel fuel tank. Last out of water maintenance was in September 2019.
Electrical Systems
5 x 12-volt batteries (2015) charging from the engine alternator, solar panel, shore power connection with 240-volt ring main, battery charger, and inverter.
Sails and Spars
The Bruce Roberts Mauritius 43 is cutter rigged, with a deck-stepped aluminium mast by Zspar. It has stainless steel standing rigging and Terylene running rigging. The sails include in-mast reefing mainsail, furling headsail, and furling staysail.
