This rib is still in showroom condition and was the 2012 Southampton Show boat, with no repairs, leaks, patches or damage. It has always been kept under cover and meticulously maintained. The tubes, hull, deck and stainless steel are virtually unmarked as you can see from the pictures. This rib is perfectly set up. It has a powerful but economical fuel injected 60hp engine which on this 5 metre lightweight rib is ideal for all types of watersports including mono skiing with the family on board. It also has a vast amount of deck space and really well thought out storage, particularly the bow lockers which have a large anchor locker with plenty of space and directly behind a huge separate locker for life jackets and gear for the day. This also makes a larger than most comfortable bow seat.
Brig ribs are very highly regarded, these boats were designed to be tough and withstand Brig’s rigorous safety tests. The hull section is fantastically strong with a thick grp double skin and five chamber half meter diameter tubes making this boat a very capable boat for almost any conditions. This is probably the most ideal size of RIB for sport and family fun as it is easily manageable single handed, cheap to run and a fantastic sea boat that gives you a really safe feeling with young family. They are also very popular tenders with four davit lifting points and this one in this condition would compliment any yacht.
The rib is Cat C rated.
Category C definition - Inshore: Designed for voyages in coastal waters, large bays, estuaries, lakes and rivers where conditions up to, and including, wind force 6 and significant wave heights up to, and including, 2m may be experienced.

Built 2012, exceptional condition. If you are considering buying new you need to view this rib as it is hard to tell the difference. There is just a small amount of wear on a stitched seam on the back rest of the helm seat that could probably be re-stitched.
Engine 2012
An Evinrude Etec top spec Electric start power trim longshaft 60hp fuel injected outboard in excellent mechanical and cosmetic order with very low hours. The size of the prop on these Etec outboards gives an indication of the performance that can be expected and this outboard will outperform any other 60hp on the market. This is a very quick boat with ample power for monoskiing with a family onboard or to plane comfortably with one or two families and all the gear for the day. The rib is fitted with a built in 43 litre fuel tank under the console which means that the helm seat is a large empty locker.
Trailer 2012
This is a super quality SBS 750KG Roller Trailer with a swing beam at the rear which aids launching and recovering.
A lighting board is included and the boat will be strapped on with new ratchet straps – you just need a number plate.
Cover
Genuine Brig all over fully fitted cover, this would benefit from a deep clean as it is not in the same pristine condition as the rib and is weathered. The all over cover clips all round to the rubbing strake and is suitable as a mooring cover or towing cover unlike the cheaper storage covers. The boat is stored inside and so we have not tried the cover.
This package as you would expect for a 2012 hardly used rib is exceptional. The hull is polished, the low hours engine is superb and immaculate, there are no patches or bad marks on the tubes – you would have to buy new to beat this rib. This package with trailer and all the extras retails new at around £20,000. With this superb setup it’s really exhilarating, great fun and surprisingly quick.

Whoever buys this RIB will get a wonderful example of a very sought after model. I can guarantee you won't find one of this year as immaculate as this boat. They hold their money well so you know your investment is safe this package new is around £20000 so get a great deal on a second hand boat with very low hours.
