DESCRIPTION

Immaculate hand-crafted new 2.45m lugsail pram dinghy - perfect shiny condition


This delightful lugsail pram dinghy is an immaculate example of craftsmanship.  Lovingly built over three and half years, it was completed in c2000 and has since been dry-stored.  The varnish is in perfect, shiny condition and she comes complete with rig (mast, boom, yard, sail), oars, pennant, tiller, rudder, centre-board, bespoke Crusader Sail (own bag) - all other items in specially-tailored canvas bags.

Hull: 
Multiple timbers including mahogany, ash, Douglas fir and maple were used in the construction.  The ‘West’ epoxy system (with mahogany) and a tropical curer were used to construct and coat the hull and fittings.
Two rowing positions allow the rower to move fore and aft depending on the loads being carried. Depth is 0.6m with centreboard down.

Rig:
Complete with mast, boom and yard.

Gear:
There is a nine-part non-slip removable sole.
Pair of beautifully finished varnished oars with retractable rowlocks.
Bespoke Crusader sail.
Easily transported on roof -rack.
