This magnificent yacht is the result of the cooperation between the well-known quality shipyard Alliage and the design office Berret-Racoupeau has led to the mini-series of the semi-custom Alliage 48 CC (Center Cockpit).A Major refit was carried out in 2021 and a recent survey is available onboard.This round bilged, twin rudders, center boardfeaturing a draft of 3,50/1,10 design was changed a bit with a vertical bow and a built-in swiveling bathing platform, to bring a modern elegance to this classic design. With its sailing characteristics, it’s extremely safe construction and the well thought-out and high-quality interior, this yacht is the ideal long-distance yacht for a couple with/or without occasional fellow sailors. The demanding owner equipped the ship in a complex process according to the highest standards for a circumnavigation and several years of living on board and (on deck) had it partially converted. The LORIMA carbon fiber mast contributes to the excellent sailing characteristics. The complex and very well- thought-out Cherry wood interior design makes the interior comfortable, safe and cozy. Thoughts of the owner

The adventure started in La Rochelle and took us to Flensburg in the Baltic Sea. A major refit for long haul offshore sailing requirements was commissioned and carried out at the shipyard. No compromises were made in the equipment for comfort and safety.

After successful test sailing in the Baltic Denmark, we continued our adventure. VAGABOND took us safely and easily along the entire European west coast all the way to Africa. Thanks to her design - the swing keel - we were able to penetrate areas that other sailboats are not allowed to. Every single one of these trips was unforgettable. Falling dry included.

We are forever grateful to have spent this unforgettable time with our beloved VAGABOND. On this way we are looking for a worthy successor who will lead the VAGABOND with the same love into new areas and new adventures.

Major Refit 2021

In 2021, the yacht underwent a major refit. The aim was to prepare the Yacht for a circumnavigation and to bring it up to the latest safety and technical standards. It was also important for the owner to emphasize the visual elegance of the yacht as a cruising yacht. A lot was also invested in coziness and comfort.

All invoices are available in detail. A lot of work was done by the owner, which is not included in the list. These own contributions were used for the continuous optimization of all technical components and lots of care and maintenance on the boat.

The investment in the refit in 2021 was € 285,000.
