| Description | This is an incredible example of a Thunderbird, she is in fantastic condition after undergoing a complete refurbishment programme beginning in 2005. The boat has been completely overhauled with both engines being lifted and sent to Volvo Agency via Barcelona for rebuild and refit at a cost of 27,000 Euros. A further amount of approximately 12,500 Euros was incurred in renewing cabling, etc. together with labour costs. The initial programme was completed in 2006 with the hull being repolished and the blue and grey striping repainted. During the Spring of 2008 other finishing items were carried out such as new turbo chargers, oil cooler pumps and new tubing ready for the installation of the new generator. The new generator has now been purchased and delivered at a cost of 7,000 Euros and is ready for installation. Castavi has always been maintained on a daily basis by a professional Marinero. |
