GENTOO is a 2020 Sun Fast 3300 designed by Andrieu and Verdier. Verdier has designed come of the world's fastest Mini 6.50's, Class 40's and IMOCA 60's and Andrieu has a string of successful IRC and IOR race boats to his name. Between them they have designed a fast, competitive IRC short handed racer / cruiser which already has an enviable race record.
GENTOO has been used in an Olympic campaign by Dee Caffari and James Harayda for the 2020 and 2021 racing seasons. The boat comes completely ready to sail accompanied with many quality spares and safety equipment.
GENTOO has been heavily optimised for IRC racing (1.025) and to be sailed double handed. She is also competitive when sailed fully crewed. The boat has a high spec with a full carbon mast (2020), Quantum Sails wardrobe (2020/2021) and B&G electronics (2020). The boat has had all new, upgraded rigging in Spring 2021. Gentoo has been maintained to the highest level and dry-sailed for her lifespan. The hull has had a full sand back and top quality respray of A4 T-Speed antifoul in 2021.

- Leave M27 at junction 8, and turn right at the roundabout at the bottom of the slip road, signposted Hamble A3024
- At the next (Tesco) roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A27/Providence Hill
- Continue for about 1.0 mile then turn right into Swanwick Marina at traffic lights.
By Car from M27 coming from the East:
- Leave M27 at junction 9, and turn left at the roundabout at end of slip road
- Turn right at next roundabout, signposted Hamble A27
- Continue along A27 for about 3 miles, turn left into Swanwick Marina at traffic lights. Sea Ventures are in an office overlooking the marina
