DESCRIPTION

Without a doubt one of the prettiest yachts you will ever have the fortune to see. Everywhere this Lady goes she gets admiring glances from those who know and hundreds of questions from those who dont.

Built in GRP by Swedish builder Fisksatra Varv in the late 70's to a Knud Reimers, 30 square meter design. With her narrow beam and fine entry, she is superb to handle and excellent in light airs. She is in lovely condition as she really wasn't sailed until 2018 when her present custodians put her back together after she had sat ashore for the best part of 20 years. This means her engine is in great condition and her sails which were New 20 years ago and unused are in super shape.

She is ready to go and has the added bonus of recent sail drive seal replacement and new standing rigging.

Construction

GRP constructed yacht with shallow draft fin ballast keel and counter hung spade rudder with tiller steering. The hull topsides are in white gelcoat and in great condition. Hull to deck join completed by a cast aluminium toe rail. Coach roof and deck moulding in white grp with all walkways and flat surfaces in moulded non slip for safety. Flat working fordeck with large anchor well. Stainless steel bow rails with open top section. Stainless steel bow fitting with bow roller. Goodsized deep cockpit with locker storage and teak grate for comfort. Cockpit sole has access panel to rear of engine and saildrive unit. Aft cabin access with sliding hatch and wooden vented washboard. Attractive teak topped cockpit coamings. Varnished wooden tiller handle with tiller extension.

Vessel was ashore for around 20 years hence her excellent topside condition and dry hull.

Engines & Electrics

Vessel is powered by a reliable and economical Volvo Penta MD7A, inboard diesel. The engine is in excellent condition for her years as she had 20 years off, moth balled out of service whilst the boat stood ashore.  She starts quickly with no smoke.

She has had new water hoses, throttle cables over the past couple of years more as a precautionary measure due to length of time ashore. Also changed was the exhaust elbow, new alternator at the same time as new batteries and a complete service. Her propulsion is a Volvo sail drive unit with 2-bladed folding propeller. The seal of the sail drive was replaced in 2018 as per manufacturers guidelines.

Bank of 2X12V batteries provide engine start and domestic power. These are fitted with isolators and are recharged via the engine alternator. Shore power cable. Internal 3-pin sockets with USB chargers.

  • Saildrive seal replaced 2018
  • New batteries and engine alternator 2019
  • New hoses, cables and exhaust elbow 2018

Sails & Rigging

Boom with topping lift and rigid rod kicker. Roller furling headsail system replaced with a Furlex system in 2021 along with a replacement forestay.

New slab reefing mainsail and roller furling genoa by Saturn sails in 2018. New sail cover and genoa luff sock in 2018. All winches are 2-speed and the genoa sheet winches are self tailing. Vessel rigged for spinnaker use including winches, halyards, pole and sails.
