Owners Remarks:
Poppy has been in the family for 22 years. Giving great service and a lot of fun. She was bought as a safe family cruiser, although not fast by modern-day standards, a hull speed of approx. 6.5Knts; she is kind and forgiving and a joy to sail I was quite happy to let my children take the helm in most conditions. With little freeboard, she can be wet in heavy conditions but she will always come up for breath.

We acquired her from Suffolk Yacht Harbour in 2000 and she was moored on a pontoon in Burnham Yacht Harbour. So she cruised extensively up and down the East coast from Lowestoft to Ramsgate along the South coast to the Solent and the North coast of France. In 2016 we sailed her to Cornwall where she was moored in Pendennis Marina and we took part in the Cogs offshore Series and out to the Scillys. In 2021 we bought her to Plymouth where she now lies. 

She has been lifted out and antifouled every year in 2018 she was stripped below the waterline and re epoxied. General maintenance has been carried out as required. The standing rigging has been replaced twice since we have had her a deck ring fitted and the original Aluminium Spinnaker pole has been replaced with a carbon fibre one.  The original glass stern tube has been bored out and replaced with a stainless steel tube she has a Feather stream prop to facilitate her going astern, a new engine and gearbox has been fitted and all of the navigation equipment has been replaced over time. A fuel gauge has been fitted in the main locker in the cockpit. The bronze tiller bearings have been replaced and the original Aluminium tiller block replaced with a Stainless steel one. The windows were replaced and resealed. Towed genoa cars have been fitted. Invoices are Dates for this work are available in the broker's inventory and sight of invoices can be had from the brokers.
