Back in 1954 Charles Carter and George Verhagen began building mahogany planked, high speed runabouts in a garage in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. What started as a project soon turned into a thriving business as word quickly spread about the two fledgling builders and the high quality of their boats. Combining the first three letters of their last names, the Carver Boat Company was born.
By the 1980s, Carver had been acquired by new owners with a vision that enabled the company to expand sales beyond the Great Lakes region and truly become a recognised leader in the luxury motor yacht market on a national scale.
Carver design their boats for maximum cruising enjoyment, regardless of sea conditions. Starting inside, the hallmark of every Carver Yacht is the amount of interior space provided in the salon, staterooms and yes, even the heads. You only have to step inside a Carver to see the difference.
Carver also take great care to build a boat that performs impeccably, one wave after another. Carver makes sure that only the best lamination components are used below the water line. To add to the hull’s strength, each hull liner is also made from super strong fibreglass, while aluminium floor trusses and cabin trusses create a structural grid that provides superior support throughout the boat. Carver even build their radar arches from welded premium grade aluminium for optimum strength.

Model Overview
What sets the Carver C36 Command Bridge apart from every other boat in its class is easy to see. The C36’s aggressive raised sheerline and bold hull shape immediately grabs viewers attention. This innovative design creates an exceptionally smooth and dry ride, outstanding manoeuvrability and generous interior spaces.
Step through the extra wide cockpit doors, and you’ll find a comfortable and spacious salon, fully equipped galley, two staterooms, and a roomy head with separate stall shower. In addition, the generous cockpit, integrated swim platform, expansive bridge and a variety of thoughtful amenities, all contribute to making the C36 feel like a much larger yacht.

BRIDGE & HELM – The C36’s spacious command bridge features a well-appointed helm station with an adjustable, swivel captain’s chair, tilt steering wheel, plenty of room for electronics, Plexiglas wind deflector, and outstanding visibility. The bridge deck also incorporates gracious wrap around seating with an available table, ample under seat storage, and an aft sun lounge for enjoying lazy summer afternoons. For some extra Summer shade, a bimini top is also available.
SALON – The spacious, airy salon boasts a U-shaped lounge, dining table, entertainment centre with 24 inch LCD television, Blu-Ray player, marine multi-media radio, in-floor and under-seat storage, large opening windows, and plush pile carpeting. An expansive indoor-outdoor living space is easily created by opening the two large doors to the cockpit.
GALLEY – The beautifully equipped galley, located amidships to starboard, features a Norcold refrigerator, microwave oven, two-burner electric cooktop, full-size stainless steel sink, solid-surface countertops, and large windows that allow for plenty of natural light and fresh sea breezes.
MASTER STATEROOM – The C36’s master stateroom offers an extra-wide island berth with Comfort Foam mattress, sconce style reading lights, and easy access from both sides. In addition, it provides two hanging lockers, overhead storage compartments, an opening overhead hatch with screen, and plush pile carpeting.
HEAD – The roomy head aboard the C36 has a fibreglass stall shower with bench seat and hinged door, and a shower head that can also be used as a hand shower. It also provides a vanity with vessel sink, under sink storage, solid surface counter top, and mirrored cabinet.
GUEST STATEROOM – The guest stateroom, located amidships to starboard, features twin berths with Comfort Foam mattresses, reading lights, plush pile carpeting, and plenty of natural light through an in-hull window.
COCKPIT – The C36’s roomy cockpit incorporates plenty of comfortable seating, large storage lockers for essential gear such as fenders, docklines, and cords, and easy access to the swim platform and side decks. In addition, a homelike stairway to starboard connects the cockpit to the bridge deck. For fun entertaining with guests and family onboard, a cockpit icemaker, refrigerator, and table are all available.
WARRANTY – Carver build their yachts better so they can back them better. Nowhere is this dedication to your utmost satisfaction demonstrated better than in their industry leading 10-5-2 Carver Warranty. This limited warranty provides a full ten years of protection on the hull and deck structure, five years against blistering of the hull laminate, and a comprehensive two year limited warranty on other manufactured parts.
OPTIONS – A full range of highly popular standard features and additional options are available. This includes a wide variety of mechanical, plumbing and electrical options, helm, navigation and electronics alternatives, and a comprehensive range of finish materials, textures and colours. For example, a light wood interior finish in Sand Oak and exterior flooring in man-made or natural teak.
This boat can be semi-customised to create a bespoke and personal yacht at your request.
