Built in 1979, we understand this Birchwood 25 was one of the original vessels used to showcase the new line of craft. 'Carasue' is fitted with its original economical Ford Watermota, Sea Tiger petrol engine and benefits from several other recent refurbishments. Construction
Off White GRP moulded hull and topsides, a green vinyl cockpit canopy with window covers. Alloy deck fittings, aluminium framed, single glazed windows and cockpit screen, pulpit rail and grab rails, stainless steel bathing ladder.
Accommodation
Aft cockpit with a GRP replacement hard top, canopy side and back panels, bench seating with lockers beneath, matching helm and co-pilot seats, floor panels with access to engine, bilges, batteries, and tanks.
Doors lead from the cockpit to the cabin, which is laid out in conventional Birchwood style with a WC compartment to starboard with wash basin (hot and cold taps) and a Thetford Porta Potti, a galley to starboard, dinette that converts to a double berth to port with storage beneath the seating and cabinet mounted on rear bulkhead, and twin vee berths forward with storage beneath and a deck hatch above and a full height locker to port. The vessel has a waste tank if a future buyer would like to convert it back to a pump-out system. The galley has a hob, grill and oven, stainless sink with hot and cold taps, and storage beneath.
The interior woodwork is original veneered ply and has original side and head linings, grey edged carpet, blue patterned cushions, and blue curtains.
