DESCRIPTION

S/V Time Out is an Admiral 40 Executive, designed by Angelo Lavranos. This catamaran is for sale and has three cabins with double berths, and 2 heads with separate showers. The Owner’s suite features a master stateroom, desk/vanity and large private head and occupies the starboard hull, while the double guest cabins and second head in the port hull. Time Out has only had two owners and has never been in charter.

General

Time Out is of fiberglass and polyester resin modular construction. She is a catamaran model sailing vessel equipped with a fractional rig, furling genoa with the anodized aluminum mast deck stepped, built in South Africa, by Admiral Yachts in the year 2009. She has an off-white gelcoat hull with a black boot stripe, a Persian green pin-stripe and an upper lever black stripe with a Persian green pin-stripe leading forward to the declared name at the bow on both sides, port and starboard. The Persian green decaled name at the bow reads: “Time Out”. Topside is an off-white gelcoat house and the fore and aft decks. Time Out has one helm station on the starboard side of the forward cockpit. She is powered by twin Yanmar, model- 3YM30, 29 hp, 22.1 kw marine diesel engines.

Due to her size and design Time Out is easily sailed short handed or even single handed. And her broad beam gives her stability in all conditions.

Hull Construction

Time Out is of hand laid fiberglass and polyester resin with vacuum-bagged balsa core construction. She has topside modular cored fiberglass deck and house. The aluminum mast is deck-stepped onto a supporting bulkhead below. There are additional longitudinal and transverse members as needed. Her deck, house, and hard tops have a composite core material in some areas. The deck is fiber glassed to the hull around the full perimeter.

Vessel Layout

Time Out is a catamaran with enclosed galley and salon centered, with sleeping accommodations in the outboard hulls and below. She is a fully furnished and air-conditioned sailing yacht and is decorated with an off-white headliner, fiberglass and wood decking, varnished teak wood paneled cabinetry, doors, and bulkheads. Overhead LED lights offer the salon, dinette and galley lighting.
