Accommodation : Remarkably good headroom in the saloon for this size and style of yacht. Saloon entered from the cockpit using the engine housing as a step. To starboard is the chart table with reading light and storage below. To port is the galley area with sink and hand pumped water. There is a gas fuelled stove which has not been used during present ownership. The yacht can sleep 4 with two singles with trotter boxes in the saloon. A further two singles in the forepeak. Heads compartment with Jabsco marine toilet. Opposite heads is a hanging space/wet locker. Interior is bright and comfortable with lots of natural light and ventilation. Solid oak floors with throat bolt through timbers every three frames. White painted topsides in good condition. Long keel with cast iron ballast keel. Keel removed and bolts checked in 2013. Sheathed marine ply decks atop deck beams and painted in cream deck coatings. Large cockpit with excellent locker storage. This area is attractive stained. Transom hung rudder with tiller steering. Varnished mahogany coamings and varnished teak handrails attached to sheathed coachroof. Side decks are surprisingly wide for a yacht this size making moving around the decks very safe and easy. New foredeck hatch fitted in 2013. Portlights and windows in good condition. Engine & Electrics: Vessel is powered by a Sole Diesel with reduction gearbox and bronze 3-bladed propeller. The engine is a marinised 2-cylinder Kubota engine renowned for their hard working characteristics. Single lever engine control and engine start panel in cockpit. Bank of 2, 12V batteries fitted with isolator. These are recharged via engine alternator. Engine well maintained with recent service. Sails & Rigging: Masthead sloop rigged yacht with deck stepped aluminium mast. Wooden boom with slab reefing main with sail cover. Stainless steel standing rigging with terylene running rigging.
