This Wheeler 65 is a custom built, quality motor-yacht with a refurbished teak hull. She offers spacious, well planned accommodation for extended holidays in the sun, cruising the Mediterranean. Ebb Tide is a classic motor-yacht designed by Howard Wheeler and built in 1937 by the Wheeler Yacht Company of Brooklyn, New York.
In addition to being a beautiful classic yacht this Wheeler 65 has a long and interesting history including a starring role in the television series 'Rip Tide'.
The current owner bought Ebb Tide in San Diego in 2004, before having the vessel shipped from Long Beach to Genova, Italy. In more recent years Ebb Tide has cruised the Med. from a Spanish Marina near the French Riviera.
Traditional carvel construction, teak planked hull on oak frames. Laid swept teak deck and aft cockpit. Flared bow with raked stem, varnished transom stern, hard chine bilges with long straight keel.
There is accommodation for 8 guests in four cabins plus crew quarters. Spacious Deck Saloon: with upholstered settees to starboard, teak parquet sole, television, heating, drop-leaf table, light and airy with good visibility and access to fore and aft cabins.
Single berth Cabin: to starboard.
Ladies Cabin: Situated to starboard with mahogany wardrobe and parquet sole.
Shower & WC: Port hand heads compartment with shower unit, wash basin and wc. Hot & cold water and teak sole.
Triple Cabin / Crew Quarters: Situated to port with three bunk beds, coal stove, teak sole and forehatch access.
Galley: Large fridge, microwave, freezer, three burner gas cooker, coffee machine, fryer, sink unit, pantry and crockery lockers. Teak parquet sole.
Aft Stateroom: Double berth, mahogany lockers and drawers. En-suite shower, WC, washbasin. Access to aft Cockpit.
Covered teak stern deck with fold down side screens, ideal for alfreco dining.
