DESCRIPTION

The Westerly Griffon was the popular successor to the much loved Centaur, with more modern looks and better performance, as one would expect from the renowned Ed Dubois. This excellent example has been carefully used and well maintained and is presented for sale in really nice condition; well worth a look.

Accommodation

The accommodation offers up to five berths in two cabins. In forecabin, V berth with infill and stowage under. Opening hatch to deck. Separate heads to port with marine toilet and hanging locker opposite. In saloon, two settee berths which convert to an athwartship double berth. Quarter berth to starboard with galley opposite. Two burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven. Stainless steel sink with manually pumped water supply. 60 litre freshwater capacity. Refrigerator. Gas piping changed 2019.

Mechanical Systems

Located behind the companionway, Yanmar GM20 twin cylinder 18hp diesel engine, installed new in 1992. Electric start. Seawater cooled. Shaft drive to three bladed propeller. 55 litre fuel capacity in steel tank. Single lever control. 4.5 knot cruising speed. Maximum speed under power 6 knots. The engine was last serviced by French Marine January 2020.
