All Walker Bay products are built using the finest materials available, designed to be incredibly durable and built to perform on the water. Throughout the design and fabrication process every detail is considered and carefully engineered. Whether you are using these boats as luxury tenders or RIBs to explore and enjoy days out, you can feel confident that you own a thoroughly premium rigid inflatable boat.
Walker Bay’s Spider Stringer Grid construction absorbs the impact from wave chop, makes the hull stronger and lighter, and provides permanent positive flotation without increasing the overall boat weight. The stringer manufacturing system allows for a more even integrated distribution load through the hull giving it extra strength when the boat is lifted. The stringer grid also connects to the transom for better transfer of power from the engine to the hull and improved planning and performance in rough conditions.
Walker Bay is proud to offer ORCA® CSM fabric. ORCA® CSM is the most resilient tube fabric available and is engineered to withstand high UV exposure in tropical climates. Walker Bay guarantees their ORCA CSM tubes for 10 years, the longest warranty in the industry.
Walker Bay exceeds all safety and construction standards of the United States Coast Guards, National Marine Manufacture Association, American Boat and Yacht Council, International Standards Organisation and European Conformity.
The exceptional ride of the Generation 450 yacht tender's deep V-Hull plus the additional 75HP rating results in exhilarating performance. The superior layout, ample storage and the integrated ski pole and boarding ladder in this boat are ideal for family fun with wakeboards, skis or towables.
The incredibly smooth ride and ample space in the Walker Bay Generation 450 yacht tender are a step above all other luxury rigid inflatable boats.
The Generation 450 is built using Walker Bay’s proprietary Polyurethane Composite Micro Stringer system making the hull lighter and stronger. The Generations also have a unique approach to joining the hull and deck using a unidirectional glass and polyurethane grid bonding system that eliminates the air cavity found in other RIBs. The result is a stronger hull that better absorbs wave chop, and its lighter weight gives a faster top speed and makes it quick to plane.
The stringer manufacturing system allows for a more even integrated distribution load through the hull giving it extra strength when the boat is lifted. Other areas of reinforcement include the steering arm and telescopic ski pole. The Generation 450 also has a hull liner that not only improves the integrity and ride of the boat, but provides a smooth clean floor for the rear storage compartments.
The extra deep V-hull is ideal for cutting through water. The customised gas tank fits in the bow section of the keel, moving weight forward in the boat to further reduce the impact of rough chop and contribute to early planing. The 450 hull also boasts modified chines that control the lift at high speed while ensuring a smooth and dry ride.
As the Generation 450 luxury yacht tender propels forward, the concave chines deflect the water down, reducing spray and increasing hull traction for aggressive manoeuvering. The stern of the hull, meanwhile, flattens out to facilitate planing at low speeds. Above the water, the sloping design of the bow step pushes the boat down at the front while the downward curve of the stern lifts the tail to increase stability and handling.
The Generation line of luxury yacht tenders is available in three colour accent options; Classic Grey, Carbon Black and Ocean Blue.
The price quoted is for the base boat without an engine with tubes and upholstery in white with Military Grey accents.
