Reelentless was commissioned new as “Ships Café” for a very knowledgeable owner. Upon delivery from Viking the vessel was taken to Merritt Boatworks for an additional 7 months of customization. The work included the addition of a full custom tower, mezzanine seating area, teak cockpit decking, teak covering boards, and hi gloss teak rub rail. Furthermore, lifting rails were added to the vessel, resulting in amazing ride and handling. The interior received a custom galley and dining table, along with custom Merritt windows for the salon and additional touches. The work made the vessel one of kind and truly the best of both worlds with Viking engineering and Merritt aesthetics. The vessel features 3 fuel tanks with a total of 1,800-gallon capacity for extended range of over a 1,000 nautical miles at most economical speed. 3 staterooms and 3 heads make those long trips a true pleasure for guests.
The vessel was painted in 2015, it receives annual haul outs and quarterly waxing to keep the hull like new; a regular maintenance schedule has resulted in a stellar vessel. The current owner is extremely knowledgeable and has used the vessel for fishing and cruising the Bahamas. Updates and upgrades have continued during his 6 years of ownership with an extensive list of upgrades including US-9 teaser reels in the flybridge, hydraulic outriggers, new Ocean LED underwater lights, complete suite of new Garmin electronics, a new Eskimo ice chipper, a new KitchenAid cocktail ice maker, a new Bosch galley oven, new galley countertops, new Bomar hatches on foredeck, a new custom aft control station, new LED tv and AV equipment, new Mezzanine teak decking, new anchor system with windlass and stainless Delta anchor, aluminum reinforcement of foredeck, rebuilt tender davit on foredeck, new bow thruster, new AC water manifold and secondary AC raw water pump, new bilge pumps, new live well pumps, new LED tower and cockpit lighting, new LED floodlights fore and aft, new aluminum diamond plate decking in engine room, the list goes on and on. Detailed maintenance and upgrade invoices available. Mechanical systems feature redundant 21 kw Onan generators, DDEC 12V2000 main engines, redundant AC raw water systems, and a Sea Recovery watermaker with full system water filtration.
