Altamira is a 1989 38' Marine Trader Double Cabin trawler with numerous upgrades. She offers a single, low-hour Cummins 210 HP main engine, Vetus bowthruster, Outback inverter and some updated electronics. Altamira is Great Loop capable.
From the aftdeck, you can walk out either side deck to the foredeck and salon or step onto the trunk cabin and then up to the flybridge. Entering the salon from the port side door, you will find the master stateroom companionway port aft, lounge chair and ottoman to port, counter port forward, L-shaped seating/berth with storage and a hi/lo folding teak table starboard aft, liquor cabinet to port and the lower helm and side deck access door starboard forward. Walk forward and step down to find the galley to port, guest head to starboard and the guest stateroom forward. Engine room access is via salon sole hatches.
The headroom in the salon is 6'7", 6'3" on the flybridge, 6'2" in the guest stateroom and head, 6'2" in the galley and 6'6" in the master stateroom. The master stateroom berths are 6'2" long, the guest stateroom berth is 6'4" long and the salon berth is 5'10" long.
The height from the waterline to the flybridge windscreen, with the mast and boom and bimini lowered is 12'6".
Altamira offers a full-beam master stateroom aft with two single berths and an ensuite head with a 1/2 tub/shower; and a guest stateroom forward with a double size berth. The guest head is to starboard across from the galley. The L-shaped seating in the salon converts to a double size berth.
The salon offers L-shaped seating with storage and a hi/lo folding teak table that converts to a double size berth starboard aft, liquor cabinet to starboard, side deck access doors starboard forward and port aft, counter port forward, lounge chair and ottoman to port, opening side windows with screens and curtains, aft windows with curtains, opening center windshield with a screen, teak parquet sole, rod storage and engine room access.
The down galley is port forward.
Dining space is available at the salon hi/lo folding teak table.
The full-beam master stateroom is aft and offers two single berths, hanging locker, storage drawers and cabinets, opening side windows with curtains, a hatch to the aftdeck, teak parquet sole and an ensuite head with a 1/2 tub/shower.
The guest stateroom is forward and offers a double size berth to port, benchseat with storage to starboard, 2 portlights, overhead hatch with a screen, reading lights, hanging locker, shelf, storage drawers and anchor chain locker access. The guest head is to starboard across from the galley.
The lower helm is starboard forward in the salon and offers a full helm, fold-up helm seat, side deck access door, opening center windshield and Ongaro windshield wipers .
The flybridge offers a bimini frame (The bimini was destroyed in a recent storm), non-skid deck, Perfect Flame BBQ grill, painted teak cap rails on stainless steel stanchions, helm seat, benchseat with storage on each side fore and aft, storage under the console, two deck chairs and a hinged mast with boom.
The trunk cabin offers a non-skid deck, one step from the aftdeck and stainless steel rails, two steps to the flybridge with stainless steel rails and a cooler.
The aftdeck offers a teak deck, lazarette access, boarding gate aft, hatch to the master stateroom and one step up to the trunk cabin.
