Much is known about this lovely Thornycroft which was given a new life under her previous ownership. Having lain in a boatyard looking rather sorry for herself I found a new owner some years ago. They achieved their dream of being in Dunkirk on board Elsa II for the Dunkirk return in 2015. The boat is now seriously for sale again with a new owner who is selling due to ill health. They have continued the fabulous refurbishment by putting back the mast. The interior is unbelievably comfortable with the largest forward heads compartment I have ever seen on a boat of this size. She is the perfect day boat complete with loo, shower etc and a full galley. The port and starboard berths in the main saloon provide sleeping for two or entertaining for 10 ! There is also plenty of room on deck with roomy side decks for moving between the wheelhouse and the forward decks. Heating and cooking facilities are excellent and all the wiring was redone in 2015. Current licence for the Thames and BSS.

The boat features in The Little Ships of Dunkirk by Christian Bramm in which he talks at length about the history of the boat up to 1990. I think her previous owners might struggle to recognise the interior which is testament to the builders Dennett and co of Laleham Reach.
