DESCRIPTION

DESDEMONA is a fully equipped cruiser which has completed an extended trip through the Caribbean. Solid construction and an award winning design combine in a passage-making vessel that is both fast and comfortable. At the dock or under sail, DESDEMONA'S light and roomy interior, abundant storage space, and extensive equipment provide an ideal yacht for cruisers or liveaboards.  Bob Perry's beautiful lines make DESDEMONA the most attractive vessel in any anchorage. She is located in Ft. Lauderdale and is very easy to show.

Accommodations

Starting forward is a large Guest Stateroom with a queen centerline V-berth, a bench/step up to the berth, eight storage lockers, two large drawers, and under bench storage. Custom print comforter, coordinating bench cover, print window covering, and a small TV make this a comfortable Guest Suite.

Just aft is an en-suite head to starboard and an en-suite Shower/Utility room to port. The Shower/Utility room has a combo washer/dryer, two storage lockers, six drawers, and an ample work surface.

The Main Salon located aft of the guest quarters features an L-shaped settee to port with a foldout dining table that seats eight when extended. The opposite is a straight settee to starboard with an enclosed TV outboard. The settees are covered in cream-colored fire proof Ultra-suede. There are lockers outboard of both settees.

Next aft on the port side is a well designed chart size Navigation Station and table located next to the centerline companionway. This area also holds a U-Line refrigerator/icemaker and an AM/FM cassette deck and 6-disc CD changer with speakers in the salon, cockpit , and both staterooms.

The walkthrough Galley is located starboard, and is well thought out for entertaining at anchor or cooking underway. It has an abundant locker and drawer space, as well as a pantry/cook's locker.  The roomy refrigerator and freezer are both top and front loading.

The Engine Room is located under the cockpit and aft of the companionway stairs opposite the Galley. Two large removable double doors  and three other doors provide excellent access.

The large Master Stateroom is aft and has a walk-around king centerline berth with a custom, extra firm, Handcraft mattress . Custom striped comforter and Ultra-suede covered settee  to starboard were designed to coordinate with other fabrics throughout the boat. There are two hanging lockers, five storage lockers and two large drawers accompanied by a mirrored dressing table with enclosed TV and storage lockers above.  The en-suite Master Head has an electric Raritan Crown head. Enclosed stall shower, and a large storage locker. Built in hair-dryers are in both heads.
