This yacht is an extended range ocean cruiser. She is a modified full-keeled ketch with skeg mounted rudder, keel stepped mainmast, staysail and mizzen. Her steady motion under power or sail and long waterline for her class make her an exceptional passage-maker, while the draft is shallow enough for Bahamas cruising. Flexible sail plan and exceptionally comfortable sheltered cockpit with separate cockpit area for Captain at helm. She has a gentle feel, whether at sea or at anchor.
Interior Layout
Sleeps five guests in private cabins and one more in semi-private comfort in a spacious layout with unique teak joinery and graceful, classic style combined with all the modern comforts. Farthest forward is the crew quarters/storage area with one bunk berth and egress through a foredeck hatch as well as access through the forward head and stateroom.
Forward Stateroom
The forward stateroom is full-width of the boat, with a semi-enclosed double berth to port and across from it a single berth to starboard. This layout allows a couple to enjoy exceptional space and can also flex to accommodate a family or three guests. The forward head serves this stateroom.
Aft Stateroom
The aft stateroom is surprisingly large, with four opening portals across the transom above the centerline queen berth. Curved lounge seats port and starboard provide ample seating. This stateroom has an ensuite private head.
Salon
The salon features a surprisingly large curved settee to port, as well as generous storage, with access to the galley. The nav station is to starboard, facing forward. There are two opening portals in the main salon, plus generous picture windows. Cabin soles throughout are teak and holly.
Galley and Dinette
The galley is aft of the salon to port, with a compact, professional layout and sufficient storage to support staffed service as well as self-serve food preparation.
The U-shaped dinette to starboard includes a hinged bench seat for larger parties that seats 6 to 8 comfortably. In addition, the dinette table top drops down to form a generous bunk with privacy curtains. Good storage under the dinette.
