'Admiral Benbow' is a trad stern narrow boat with a traditional layout that has been used as a liveaboard in the Cambridge/Ely area for the past 9 years.  She is currently set up with two double cabins and is being offered for sale with all her inventory and equipment.

Construction
Originally constructed with a 10mm base plate, 6mm hull sides, 5mm deck and cabin sides and 4mm roof. when surveyed for the current owner in 2016, the surveyor found minimal plate thickness loss.
The hull was blacked and anodes renewed in 2016, so she is probably overdue for this to be done again.

Accommodation
The accommodation briefly comprises-:
Double steel cabin doors leading to a forward saloon with comfortable seating, a Morso Squirrel stove (fitted in 2013) with back boiler feeding the radiators and supplying hot water, 12v radio & TV.
Split galley with fitted cupboards, shelving, tiled worktop, splash back and floor tiles, LPG cooker, 230v fridge/freezer, stainless steel sink & drainer.
Midships cabin with double bed (with pump-out tank and calorifier beneath) and a wardrobe locker.
Shower room with tiled shower cubicle, wash basin, macerator toilet and storage.
Storage/dressing area/study (previously a third berth).
Aft cabin with fitted double berth, storage lockers and a second Morso Squirrel stove (replaced in 2020, access to the aft deck and engine bay via aft cabin doors with a sliding hatch.
The interior is finished in painted tongue and groove panelling up to gunwale level and painted plywood on the side and head linings, solid wood flooring, LED lighting, matching curtains and blinds.

Engine
Barrus Shire 45hp diesel engine (new engine fitted approximately 7 years ago) coupled to a shaft drive with a single lever engine control. Engine last serviced in 2020.

Electrics
12v batteries, solar panels and controller, Sterling Procharge Ultra, Sterling 1800w inverter, shore power connection, 12v LED lighting, 12v water pump, shower waste pump and bilge pump.

Expires 17/01/2023.
