Attitude is a superb example of the highly sought after Southern Cross 31. She is the rare affordable boat that is truly ocean worthy and ready to go.
She has three reef points in the main, a self-tending staysail and a roller furling headsail—facilitating safe and balanced sail plan options for the varying wind and sea conditions the long-distance cruiser is likely to experience.
Her Monitor Windvane self-steering system is energy independent, which is a boon on offshore passages. Her solar panels keep her electrical system independent from shore power.
She has a propane stove with oven, DC refrigeration and excellent midship sea berths.
Don’t miss out on this well-maintained classic double-ender.

Starting forward, is a large V-berth with storage cabinets along both sides of the berth. Two opening bronze ports and a large overhead hatch provide excellent ventilation. Forward of the V-berth are doors that lead to the chain locker. Just aft and to port is a small hanging locker.
The Head is aft and to starboard of the forward cabin and features an aft-facing manual head, nice vanity and an opening bronze port for ventilation. The holding tank has a Y-valve and can be emptied overboard via manual pump or can be evacuated by a pumpout service.
The Salon sports two straight settees which also double as excellent sea berths (with lee cloths). Because the fuel and water tanks are integral fiber glass and below the sole, there is ample stowage below both settees. Five opening bronze ports, an overhead hatch and the companionway provide superb natural ventilation. There are three brass oil lanterns and a barometer. Ventilated storage lockers are above and behind both settees with additional storage under the settees. New salon upholstery in 2016.
