By eliminating the side decks in favor of elevating the staircases, - what the company called "SideWalks" - Silverton designers were able to produce a distinctive midsize motor-yacht whose salon dimension are truly expansive for a boat this size. She rides on a high-freeboard modified-V hull with a solid fiberglass bottom and wide 14' 1" beam. Hands down, the principal feature of the Silverton 372/392 is her enormous full-beam salon complete with cherry joinery, Ultraleather sofa, large dinette, and full-service galley. There are double berths in both staterooms (neither of which are especially roomy thanks to the huge salon), and each head contains a separate shower stall. Top side, the flybridge is arranged with a bench seating fore and aft of the helm console. The afterdeck came standard with a hardtop and wetbar. No racehorse, 320 hp gas inboard cruise at a sedate 12-15 knot range (20+ top).
