Accommodation

The accommodation offers four berths in two cabins. V berth forward with infill, new upholstery and foam in 2017. Heads compartment to port with recent marine toilet and hanging locker opposite. In saloon, dinette to port with galley and quarter berth opposite. Demountable saloon table. Two burner Taylors 043 gas cooker with grill and oven. Stainless steel sink with 30 litre manual cold water supply. Cool box. Fold down chart table over quarter berth.

Mechanical Systems

Located abaft the companionway. Year 2018 Yanmar 1GM10 single cylinder 10hp diesel engine. Electric start. Shaft drive to fixed two blade propellor. Single lever engine controls. Four gallons fuel capacity giving approximately 100 miles range at 4.5 knots cruising speed. Maximum speed under power 5.5 knots. The engine has only some 130 hours logged. Serviced in April 2019.

Alternator charging to 2 x 12 volt batteries (2017 domestic and 2019 engine start). Extensive upgrading to electric recently and new (2018/19) 12V switch panel installed.

Sails & Spars

Masthead rigged sloop. Anodised aluminium mast and boom, 1978. Stainless steel standing rigging, new in 2017. Terylene running rigging, new in 2017. Slab reefing mainsail. Selden headsail furling system, new in 2017. Barlow 15 halyard winch. Two Barlow 23 sheet winches. New main sheet track fitted in 2017. Wooden bearing out spar.

Construction

Built by Seamaster Ltd in 1978/9 to a design by Holman & Pye. White GRP hull with style stripes. White GRP deck with painted in light grey non-slip to decks. Aft self draining cockpit. Fin keel. Transom hung rudder. Tiller steering (new laminated tiller in 2018). The hull had been epoxied below the waterline in 2007. Recent stanchions and bases. Anchor locker bulkhead replaced, new toilet seacocks, new Houndini forehatch and bilge pump all in 2017. Keel bolts replaced in 2017/18.

Last surveyed in 2017. Her owner will be downsizing to a day boat.
