“EAST WINDS” is a Sea Otter 30 Commissioned 2001 powered by a Nanni 14hp shaft drive diesel engine (keel cooled)  30’  0” Long with 6’  10” beam and   1’ 7”  draft  built in Aluminium Alloy

As with all Sea Otter Boats "EAST WINDS" was constructed of Marine Grade BS5083 Aluminium Alloy and has a projected hull lifespan of 100 years. Buying a Sea Otter (even second hand) allows you to spend your time cruising the river and canals, entertaining your friends and family and enjoying the life of owning a boat. Exterior

East Winds was built with a cruiser stern with curved bench seats at the helms position. 

The cabin is finished in gloss green and gold coloured detailing.

Accommodation

East Winds has a light and open feel to its interior, finished with light oak marine ply.

Entering the cabin from the cruiser stern there is a toilet shower/wet room to the right and a small full length wardrobe to your left. The kitchen area has a full size 4 burner gas oven and grill and a sink and drainer. Opposite this is the dinette table and siting area where the table can drop down to make another double berth.

East Winds has a little 'Hobbit' wood burner mounted midships and forward of this are two sofa berths either side of the boat that can be joined in the middle to make a double bed.

Engine

East Winds is powered by the popular three cylinder 14Hp Nanni Diesel for quiet and economical cruising.

Galley

A good size galley positioned to port and features:

Four burner gas hob, grill and oven.

Moulded sink and drainer with hot and cold mixer tap.

Fridge freezer.

Several storage cupboards under and storage lockers and shelves above.

Heads/Bathroom

On starboard side the heads/bathroom is a wet room style, it has a cassette toilet, shower, vanity basin unit with storage under.

Saloon

The saloon has two, three seater settees fitted both sides and these can be converted by sliding out a centre filler to create a king sized berth.

There is also a little wood burner made by 'The Hobbit' installed midships.

Heating And Hot Water System.

There is a Truma hot air heating system that is ducted throughout the boat.  Hot water is from either the shore powered immersion heater or the engines calorifier.
