DESCRIPTION

Saltram Saga 40.Renowned Blue-water cruiser. Exceptionally well maintained and constantly upgraded whilst in commission. Extensively equipped and designed to be a tough sea-going yacht. Built 1995 by K.R. Skentelbery & Sons in UK. 47hp Ford, (new August 1999, full log kept), comprehensive navigation and safety inventory, Sleeps 4/6 in 3 cabins £20,000 - Substantial reduction

Please note that due to the yacht's location, a number of the photos used in this advert were taking in 2012 including the video, this was when the boat was last in Europe. Since May 2017 the yacht has been laid up ashore and she will require a fair amount of recommisioning work - more details on request.

Construction

Double ended "Colin Archer" style moulded hull in GRP with long external cast iron keel, treated with epoxy prior to initial launch taken back to bare and re-epoxied April 2010 as a preventative measure.

Comments

This yacht is a very tough, true blue water cruiser which gives a comfortable ride even in very rough conditions. It is equipped and laid out to make single-handed sailing easy and remains unusually dry in the cockpit. She is fully equipped for comfortable living aboard.
