This Sabre 27 is designed by Alan F. Hill and built in 1971, she is a sturdy and well thought out classic cruising yacht. The bilge keel makes her a great little east coast cruiser which you can enjoy with the family. The practical and surprisingly spacious interior has 6 berths. Ready to go.

Accommodation
In the bow is a V berth with the water bag underneath, opening hatch onto the foredeck. Just to aft of the forecabin is the heads on the starboard side, equipped with marine toilet. A large hanging is opposite. We move into the saloon with a linear galley on the port hand side which has a 2 burner gas hob, grill and oven. Single stainless steel sink with manual freshwasher tap. 100 litre water capacity. Deep dry storage for produce. Opposite is a dinette with a secure table. Settee doubles up as a double berth. In both quarters are another 2 single berths which are rather spacious. Simple and practical fit out through the entire accommodation.
Mechanical Systems
Underneath the companionway as you come down below is a Yanmar 2GM20 18hp engine (age unknown). She is shaft driven with a three blade propellor with rope cutter. Single lever controlled. Engine hours unknown. 40 litre fuel capacity in a stainless steel tank. 5 knot cruising speed.
Electrical Systems
Two 12 volt batteries charged by the alternator. Both batteries are 4 years old.
Sails and Spars
Masthead sloop rig. Deck stepped alloy mast and boom with stainless steel standing rigging. A frame onboard to lower the mast onto the deck. Terylene running rigging with some led back to the cockpit. Headsail furling system. Slab reefed main with lazy jacks. Two lewmar sheet winches and 1 Barton halyard winch.

Construction
Built in 1971 by Eric White of Marine Construction (UK) Ltd and conceived by well known designer Alan Hill. White painted GRP hull with copper coated bottom which was done in 2016. GRP deck with painted non slip patches. Bilge keel with skeg hung rudder. Tiller steering. Fairly large cockpit locker with gas bottle storage inside.
