The Tatoosh 42 has a two cabin two head layout. Forward is a large V berth with shelving, a hanging locker, and drawers for storage. Aft to port is the guest head. The salon is just forward of the galley and has settees port and starboard. A centerline table is between and there is good storage throughout. The galley is to starboard, and the navigation station is at the head of the quarter berth to starboard. The aft head is across from the galley and includes a separate stall shower with seating. A door provides access to the head from the galley and a second door leads you into the second stateroom.

Quarter Berth

The quarter berth resides just aft of the Navigation Station and provides good access to the navigation station and cockpit. The berth is wider than most and there is shelving on the starboard wall with build in handrails.

Aft Bunk

The aft bunk is to port just as you enter the cabin from the companionway. Entry to the cabin can be from a door just opposite the navigation station or through the aft head. Galley

The galley is just aft of the salon to the starboard side. There is an abundance of counterspace with built-in deep drop insulated storage and refrigeration between a Hillerange three burner stainless steel propane stove and oven. All cabinetry and drawers are concealed with hinged locks to remained closed when underway. Consistent teak and holy sole along with teak walls throughout gives the galley a large open feel.

Salon

The settees in the salon are of note with an untraditional round design. The continuation of teak storage including cabinetry and shelving is no exception here with plenty of room for a full crew. A large rounded table is between that extends towards the either end of the settees comfortably accommodating four for dining.

Forward Berth

All the way forward in the v berth. You are greeted with a full linen closet to starboard and access to the forward head door to port. Shevling on either wall with built in handrails provide for storage and stability just below wooden handrails. A cabinet nwith three drawers and wooden countertop is just forward of the linen closet and insert for the berth provides a full reach at its edge.
