MECHANICAL/PROPULSION
Volvo Penta’s 4-cylinder D4-260 is developed from the latest design in modern diesel technology.
EVC controls with fuel consumption gauge

The engine and Duoprop drive underwent a major phased refit by Volvo Penta in the past 2 seasons commencing with an engine lift out and finishing with upgraded electrical relays.

This work included a new heat exchanger, coolant pump, fuel cooler, belt and tensioner, turbocharger, starter motor, starter battery, Lenco trim-tab control with LED indicators, relays, and new rams. The Duoprop drive has a new transom shield, steering rams, anodes, and gaiters. Heated and blower vented engine bay with easy access via electrical actuator ram can be unclipped to allow the aft bench seat and bay cover to be tilted back to fully vertical. Only 46 hours on the engine since the refit.
