The Hallberg Rassy 31 Monsun is a traditional long full keel yacht from the design board of Ole Enderlein. This is a really very nice example considering her age, and can certainly be considered one of the most seaworthy yachts out there, with the ability to cruise over oceans with the lightest of touches on the helm. Her engine was replaced in 2001, and overall she has obviously been well maintained.

We have owned Frestelse since 2006. She has 2 previous owners the first until 1994 and the second until 2006. We have kept her on a swing mooring in Poole Harbour and she has been wintered ashore each year. She has seen light usage with coastal cruising only and a constant upgrading program. She is a fantastic seaworthy boat with the very high build quality you would expect from a Hallberg Rassy. Her long keel gives excellent directional stability and she ‘sails herself’ on most points of sailing once her sails are balanced. Sadly a growing family means we are looking at a larger boat.
