The Gib Sea 442 is well known as a blue water cruiser and this model is designed by Michael Joubert and built by Gilbert Marine in France. She has proven herself as a safe and spacious world cruiser and equipped to start again on her next adventure.
There are twin forward cabins and twin aft cabins and can comfortably sleep up to 11.
She is an ideal blue-water cruiser and would suit a new owner looking for a stylish yacht with proven sailing characteristics, strong build quality and safety. The 442 looks good and handles well. The Gib Sea 442 is comfortable and spacious for the size, she features twin forward bunk cabins and twin aft quarter berths. Their is a head with shower located starboard aft, another shower area with sink is forward to port; the forward toilet has been removed to allow additional storage.
Located to port of the companionway ladder is the galley featuring 2 gas hobs and oven, twin stainless steel sinks, hot/cold pressure water and air cooled DC refrigeration with a small freezer box. A large top opening cabinet is adjacent to the refrigerator and shares some cool air for vegetable storage.
The saloon features a dining table, settees on both hull sides and storage above and below with a pilot berth.
You control the yacht from the large centred helm in the spacious cockpit, there is ample lounge space, a foldaway table, spray hood, new bimini and a comfortable helm position with easy access to sail controls.
Extensive improvements and additions have been made to the yacht by the current owner since purchase.
All maintenance and service records have been kept up to date and are available to view.
She comes with an extensive sail wardrobe including the newly upgraded main sail (lazy jacks), Genoa (roller furling), stay sail, spinnaker and storm sail, all of which are very good quality and in very good condition.
