Back in 1954 Charles Carter and George Verhagen began building mahogany planked, high speed runabouts in a garage in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. What started as a project soon turned into a thriving business as word quickly spread about the two fledgling builders and the high quality of their boats. Combining the first three letters of their last names, the Carver Boat Company was born.

By the 1980s, Carver had been acquired by new owners with a vision that enabled the company to expand sales beyond the Great Lakes region and truly become a recognised leader in the luxury motor yacht market on a national scale.

To add to the hull’s strength, each hull liner is also made from super strong fibreglass, while aluminium floor trusses and cabin trusses create a structural grid that provides superior support throughout the boat. Carver even build their radar arches from welded premium grade aluminium for optimum strength.

COCKPIT – Entering the C43’s cockpit, owners will appreciate the large integrated swim platform. This platform is easily accessed through a transom door located on the yacht’s starboard side. The cockpit also incorporates convenient access to the engine compartment, large storage lockers to port and starboard, and comfortable L-shaped lounge seating. To truly enhance your onboard entertaining, a cockpit table, icemaker and refrigerator are also available.

SALON – Expansive glass doors separate the cockpit from the salon, and when they’re open, owners can enjoy a single entertainment space that flows seamlessly from the helm to the aft lounge. The salon features a large dining table, 32 inch LED television, Blu-Ray CD player, and AM/FM marine quality radio. Large cockpit scuppers draw water away from the salon doors, eliminating the need for a step between the two spaces.

GALLEY – The port-side galley features solid surface countertops, full-size stainless steel sink, Nova Kool refrigerator, convection microwave oven and a two burner electric cooktop with ventilator to make onboard meal preparation a pleasure. Below the galley is another large storage area which can be used in a variety of ways.

MASTER STATEROOM – The entrance to the forward master stateroom lies just a few steps down from the helm and galley. With class leading 6 feet, 6 inches of headroom, these accommodations offer more space than master staterooms aboard much larger yachts. Amenities include a queen-size island berth, port and starboard overhead lockers, hanging lockers, and dual end tables.

MASTER HEAD – The real tour de force of the C43 is the private master head, with a glass-tile backsplash behind the sink and a roomy fiberglass stall shower with a clear acrylic door that creates a homelike feel.

GUEST STATEROOM – The C43’s guest stateroom features a dressing area with 6 feet, 6 inches of headroom, a large hanging locker, and twin berths that can be converted into a full-size double bed to comfortably accommodate family members or friends.

GUEST HEAD – The guest head, which also serves as the yacht’s day head, is accessible from the guest stateroom, as well as from the companionway.

HELM – The starboard-side helm station offers an electrically adjustable seat that allows the captain to drive while seated, standing, or leaning on a flip-up bolster, plus it has plenty of room for all of today’s most desirable navigation, communication and electronic engine controls.

WARRANTY - Carver build their yachts better so they can back them better. This limited warranty provides a full ten years of protection on the hull and deck structure, five years against blistering of the hull laminate, and a comprehensive two year limited warranty on other manufactured parts.

This includes a wide variety of mechanical, plumbing and electrical options, helm, navigation and electronics alternatives, and a comprehensive range of finish materials, textures and colours. For example, a light wood interior finish in Sand Oak and exterior flooring in man-made or natural teak.
